“Speak”
“Speak” is about a young girl Melinda, and who was depressed and couldn’t speak her mind, she was so scared to, she went to Rachel's house one night and they went to a party, well she got drunk and she couldn’t say “no” to this gorgeous cover-model guy, so he raped her. The next thing she thought she had to do was to dial 911. Rachel was so mad so mad at her for calling the police. One of her teachers Mr. Neck made an announcement saying that if anyone is flunking they can write an extra-credit on a Cultural Influence at the Turn of the Century, Melinda wrote a report on the suffragettes, well when it was her time to present it to the class to get her credit she didn't speak, she passed copies of her report to class so they can read her report, he sent her to the principal. No one understood why she was so quite. She expressed herself in art by drawing trees, her teacher Mr. Freeman criticized her work telling her how bad it sucks and that the painting insults tree everywhere. The lesson you’re going to learn is wherever you go or whatever you do someone is going to judge you whether they know your story or they don’t.

Self-Expression
I express myself in a lot of ways. But I mostly express myself in my favorite sport and that sport is softball. When I express myself in softball it's pitching, when I pitch the ball underhand fast I'm trying to say don't hit my ball, it's going into the catchers glove. When I bat, I'm saying that ball is going to the fence, and I'm going to make a home-run. Running is also how i express myself and that getting to all the bases before getting out.

Thirteen people seven white, six black, along the way they seen these signs that said white waiting, colored, waiting, white men waiting, colored me, white women, colored women, segregation was the order of the day. The thirteen Freedom Riders left Washington D.C., to got to Montgomery. A few days later they encounter a violent reception. They rode the bus to end the bus segregation. They didn't fight back because then they will lose all their rights.
